The Wolverine Chapter

I am honored that you would like to show my collection. Six years ago someone gave me an old greasy Sea King Single Montgomery Ward motor. I decided to see if I could make it run. After accomplishing that I decided that maybe I would paint it. Then I asked my wife if she would look on the internet to see if I could find a decal. I discovered there was an AOMCI club so I joined. I am so impressed with the magazine and motors I discovered the Wolverine Chapter and the Great Lakes Chapter and joined both of them.

For six years I have dove in head first into the old motors and the different club meets.

I have never found a nicer bunch of guys to help me restore these motors. I think we are a small percentage of people because you either like them or you don’t and I have found that I truly do. I want to thank all the people that have helped me with information, parts, decals and knowledge. I remember a place and a face but have a real problem remembering names. I guess my head is full of motors. So if I say “hello” to you and don’t call you by name, I am not being disrespectful I just have a problem with names.
